Powerblanket Expands its Industry Footprint

Powerblanket - Bring The HeatPOWERBLANKET® MOVES TO A 58,000 SQUARE FOOT LOCATION NEXT TO I-15

SALT LAKE CITY – Powerblanket®, provider of superior heat spreading technology through the use of a patented GreenHeat™ Technology, packed up and moved eight miles closer to I-15 at 3130 S 1030 W Salt Lake City, Utah. The new facility encompasses 58,000 square feet of office, warehouse, and freezer space combined, to better serve Powerblanket® customers.

“This was a very strategic move for us,” said Brent Reddekopp, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Our capacity for improvement and growth was very limited at our old location, and we are very happy to have made this move to a much larger facility to continue developing revolutionary new products for our customers.”

The new facility lays claim to a 50-by-100 foot freezer. Products can now be put under extreme conditions and tested for maximum effectiveness. The room is large enough for all types of Powerblanket® products from the smallest two-by-two foot blanket up to a Frac Tank.

“Having access to the freezer will make a great difference in our testing procedures,” said Joel Fillion, Vice President of Engineering. “We can make sure our products exceed our customers expectations by testing them under extreme conditions.”

Powerblanket® manufactures industrial heating blankets that can be used over a variety of applications including temperature maintenance, freeze control, and concrete curing. Powerblanket accomplishes this with a patented GreenHeat ™ Technology which is a revolutionary heat spreading system designed to provide a highly efficient and uniform distribution of heat while consuming low levels of energy, thus saving money by not subjecting projects to costly cold weather delays. For example, after calculating the savings in fuel and the personnel to build and move heated enclosures, Walsh Construction saved more than $5.43 for every $1.00 spent on Powerblanket® heating blankets during a wintertime cold weather concreting job.

Powerblanket® provides superior heating solutions for a multitude of applications, including industrial and manufacturing temperature control, ground thawing, concrete curing, oil field services and many more.
