The powerblanket® brochure should be read carefully to ensure you receive the accurate blanket for your application. It is also important to check the Uses-List for a through understanding of the powerblanket®’s many uses.
powerblanket®s have Top Side and Bottom Side. Heat comes from the Bottom Side only.
DO NOT plug in the powerblanket® while rolled or folded.
powerblanket® can be folded Top Side to Top Side while plugged in, but NOT Bottom Side to Bottom Side. Never turn powerblanket® on while rolled up or folded bottom side to bottom side as the blanket will overheat and short out. Never fold the ExtraHot EH model while plugged in (EH0612, EH0409, EH0405, EH0202). Rolling or folding the EH model while plugged in will damage the blanket and void your warranty. Always unplug blanket & cool down before folding, rolling, or transporting. Please use the powerblanket®'s 6" flap for overlapping and securing down the blanket. It is necessary to tightly secure the powerblanket® to your project's surface for maximum results.
The powerblanket® is not a radiant heater.
Please plug in no more than the recommended number of powerblanket®s per 20amp outlet.
For maximum performance use 10 to 12 gauge extentions cords with the shortest length possible.
DO NOT pull the powerblanket® by its power cord.
It is Recommended using two people to move, fold or roll up the 23’x11’ powerblanket®.
It is NOT recommended to use the 23’x11’ powerblanket® for hanging. Please use the 6’x25’ powerblanket® for your hanging needs.
There is no need for additional covering of a powerblanket®. However, in extremely cold conditions it may increase performance. Never cover ExtraHot EH model powerblanket®s as it will cause blankets to overheat and void warranty.
The powerblanket® is very durable but not indestructible. Please patch any holes immediately
You will not determine if the powerblanket® is working by feeling for heat.
