September is here, and so are this month’s nominees for the Power Manufacturing Award. Manufacturers making the cut are Frontier Swiss and Alpine Distilling.
Frontier Swiss is a manufacturer based in Provo that produces, according to their website, “the highest quality, precision screw machine parts.” Family owned since its inception, Frontier Swiss values their highly skilled employees and the attention to detail of the machine parts they manufacture on a daily basis. We chose Frontier Swiss due to their innovative factory floor processes that guarantee consistency in each batch of machine screws.
Alpine Distilling, a craft beer and wine manufacturer in Park City, is all about perfecting tradition. Founded in 2011 by a descendant of Kentucky moonshiners, the company utilizes family tradition with brewing techniques learned from the owner’s world travels to create a unique experience in a bottle, while doing so in a way that is 100 percent Orthodox Union Kosher certified. It takes serious concentration and innovation to pull that off, which is why they were nominated by a Powerblanket employee for this month’s award.
After careful deliberation by our panel of judges, one of these manufacturers will be chosen as Power Manufacturer of the month. Keep an eye out towards the end of September for the announcement.
