Powerblanket’s 3x10 ground thawing heated blanket is an effective solution for thawing frozen ground, warming vehicle engines, and efficiently melting ice dams. Unlike traditional concrete curing blankets, these ground heating blankets feature a higher watt density and hotter temperature, ideal for rapid ground thawing and concrete curing in cold climates.

This ground thaw blanket provides uniform heat across the entire surface, ensuring no hot or cold spots. With a preset temperature of 150°F ± 10°F (65°C ± 5°C), this ground thawing equipment effectively melts snow and ice from construction sites, walkways, and rooftops. Pair it with an adjustable or fixed thermostatic controller for enhanced temperature control.

Thermal Rating Class

3’x10’ ground thawing heated blankets come in two different thermal rating classes:
  • Powerblanket - designed for any definitive heating applications, surrounded by a rugged vinyl shel, safely raises material temperatures as high as 145 F and can be used in temperatures as low as -20 F
  • Powerblanket Xtreme - designed for harsh climates, surrounded by a rugged vinyl shell, safely raises material temperatures as high as 145 F and can be used in temperatures as low as -20 F

Both options are durable, water-resistant, and offer reliable heat distribution, making them ideal ground thawing blankets for tough weather conditions. Every Powerblanket product is ETL certified to UL, CSA, and CE safety standards.

    Curing Epoxy Resins

Curing epoxy resins with Powerblanket is easy and efficient! Most epoxy resin and hardener combinations require heat in order to cure since ambient temperatures are not high enough. If the epoxy resins are not heated high enough and evenly enough, the chemical, mechanical and heat resistance properties become compromised. In fact, some epoxy resins require heating in steps to prevent overheating from exothermic reactions.

Here's How Powerblanket Can Make Your Epoxy Curing Process Easier:

    Powerblanket: Simplifying Epoxy Curing

    • Even Heat Distribution: Ensures that resin cures uniformly and efficiently, preventing any overheating or underheating.
    • Preheat Molds with Ease: The blankets are great for preheating molds before applying epoxy.
    • Safe Heating for Critical Materials: Designed to heat resins safely without risking damage or compromise.
