The 2014 Global Petroleum Show will be held in Stampede Park in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Today through June 12th are the days of showcasing industry technologies and innovations for the oil and gas sector.
This year, the Global Petroleum Show will host over 2,000 exhibiting companies, 60,000 registered attendees from over 100 countries, and 80 sponsors and associate companies and organizations. The annual Global Petroleum Show is one of the most important events for the oil and gas sector. Of the exhibiting companies attending this year, over 35% of them are international—which helps to show how much this event is anticipated worldwide.
This year’s layout accounts for more than 700,000 net square feet of exhibits shared among six different exhibit halls—amounting to the largest exhibition Stampede Park has ever seen. As an addition, the 2014 show hosts the Global Energy Career expo. This appendage to the event is held in the Telus Convention Center alongside another new add on: the International Energy Capital Forum—where all the money comes into the picture. An outdoor, mobile presentation theater will also be present, beckoning any interesting in learning more about supply-chain management.
The Global Petroleum Show creates a great opportunity for the world’s energy companies to come together to showcase technologies and services related to the oil and gas sector. The show began June ninth with an opening-night reception and continues through June 12.
